Black with yellow and blue Kantha Tote Bag

This beautiful black, yellow and blue tote bag is handmade from a vintage Indian kantha. Kantha, or “patched cloth” is one of the oldest forms of embroidery where old cotton saris are reused and stitched together by hand using techniques passed down through generations of women.

We have taken some of our favourite vintage Kanthas and further upcycled them into these luxury Boho Chic bags. They are generously proportioned making them fabulous for a multitude of uses; a day to day handbag, pack your swimsuit and towel for the beach or carry your picnic to the park. Yet they remain smart and sophisticated to dress up last minute if needed. They are sure to get plenty of admiring comments. We are mad about them.
