Gold and Pink Beaded Horse

Recently on our travels we have discovered these wonderful beaded animals from South Africa and we just fell in love with them - and think you will do too.

Each animal is unique - hand crafted by women supported by Monkeybiz, an economic upliftment project dedicated to reviving the traditional craft of African beadwork.  They are helped to become financially independent through their work and to set up ultimately set up on their own.

We love this horse with his striking gold, pink and black chevron stripes. 

He measures approximately 27cm (11") across by 29cm (12") high.
