Red and Blue Kantha Tote Bag

This stunning red and blue tote bag is handmade from a vintage Indian kantha. Kantha, or “patched cloth” is one of the oldest forms of embroidery where old cotton saris are reused and stitched together by hand. We have taken some of our favourite vintage Kanthas and further upcycled them into these luxury bags. 

They are generously proportioned making them fabulous for a multitude of uses; a day to day handbag, pack your swimsuit and towel for the beach or carry your picnic to the park. Yet they remain smart and sophisticated to dress up last minute if needed. They are sure to get plenty of admiring comments whatever you use them for! We are mad about them.
