Tamegroute baby bubble table lamp

This is a pair of beautiful baby bubble tamegroute table lamps. 

Tamegroute pottery comes from the village of Tamegroute in Morocco. The green glaze is the dominant colour of this pottery but there are also a few ochre shades.  This is an ancient technique which gives the glaze some beautiful imperfections.

The plate is made from antiqued brass. The bulb fitting (also antique brass) is Bayonet B22. It has a silk twisted flex with inline switch.
