    One-of-a-kind statement lampshades which are handmade from repurposed Indian silk saris. Each vintage sari has been picked for its jewel-like patterns, colours and textures, reflecting the richness of India’s textile traditions.

    The Jaipur, Bagru, Assam and Scallop collections allow you to choose your favourite design in multiple sizes and are available in quantity. If we don't already have the size you are looking for, we can usually make it.

I love this company - I’m a bit obsessed with lampshades and have quite a few - I love them all but the three that I have from Samarkand Design really do stand out.     Packaging totally sustainable! Contents beyond expectations So impressed by your use of cardboard (indeed even more impressed that it may have been an old box re-used) lovely brown paper tape too. The rug is stunning so soft and with muted colours. The rolling pin is fun and looks good almost anywhere. The bedcover (kantha) is so much better than any others I have come across. All such a high standard. Will always come back to you above others. You have a very good eye. Huge thank you.
