Ikuko Iwamoto is an accomplished ceramicist whose practice focuses on porcelain and the subtle forms found in the natural world. As a ceramics artist, she often draws inspiration from organic structures such as shells, seed pods and marine life, translating these influences into refined ceramic pieces. Using traditional slip-casting techniques, Ikuko creates porcelain forms that feel both intricate and natural, combining precision with a gentle, hand-formed quality.

The Iki Lamp reflects this approach perfectly. Crafted in white porcelain, the ceramic base is finished with a soft matt glaze and a delicately textured surface reminiscent of a sea urchin.
