Monkeybiz South African Beaded Horse Red & Orange

Discovered during our travels in South Africa, these remarkable beaded animals are created in partnership with Monkeybiz in Cape Town and celebrate the individuality and skill of the women who make them.

This large red and orange beaded horse is a bold and expressive decorative piece, crafted using richly coloured glass beads arranged in a striking chequerboard pattern. Monkeybiz supports township beading communities by providing artisans with glass beads and materials free of charge, alongside mentoring and long-term guidance. Each woman selects her own colours and develops her own pattern, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind African animal.
