Something made just for your home
Sometimes the perfect piece doesn’t exist yet. Maybe you need a lampshade in exactly the right shade of orange, a headboard that picks up the colours in your bedroom, or cushions to finish a room you’ve been working on for months. That’s what our bespoke service is for.
You don’t need to be an interior designer or be doing a big project. Many of our bespoke customers are simply people with a particular room, a particular colour or a particular idea in mind.
We have a large (and rather beautiful looking) wardrobe filled with saris in a vast array of stunning colours and patterns, eagerly waiting to be turned into that special piece you are looking for. Just let us know what you are after and we will do our best!
What can we make for you?
Custom lampshades, cushions and bedding
We keep a large, carefully chosen stock of vintage saris, kimonos, block prints and ikats. Choose the fabric that speaks to you and we’ll make it into a lampshade, cushions or bedding, sized and styled to suit your space. Because the textiles are vintage, your piece will be genuinely one of a kind.
Bespoke lampshades have a rough lead time of 6 weeks and pricing will be dependent on the size and requirements.
Upholstered chairs and headboards
Give a favourite chair a new lease of life, or make a headboard the focal point of your bedroom. We can upholster in our vintage fabrics, including suzanis and other hand-worked textiles, for a finish you won’t find anywhere else.
Help finding the finishing touches
Not sure what would work? Tell us about your room and we can suggest pieces that complement it, and help match colours, textures and finishes so everything feels pulled together, whether it’s a single room or the whole house.
