These amazing "skirts" are, in fact traditionally used to shield from the rain in North Eastern India. Made by local tribespeople in Nagaland, we think they make fabulous decorative pieces as wall coverings. They are made by "thatching" onto a jute net.
We realise this is quite unusual but we found them on our travels to Nagaland and fell in love with them. And they go so well with those fabulous Tribal Hats which you can find here (https://samarkanddesign.com/shop/accessories). We also have a great selection of hand woven cushions from Nagaland.
