Hand-Embroidered Silk Suzani Textile

This hand-embroidered silk Suzani textile from Uzbekistan features a classic repeating carnation (or "sun flower") motif of seven large radiating blooms in deep burgundy, lavender and cream. Connected by a flowing teal-green vine with feathered leaves.

This would make a fabulous wall hanging either framed or simply stretched.
