We've had to pause sales to the EU and Northern Ireland

Goods Package and Services Regulation (GPSR) is a new set of rules introduced in the European Union to simplify the shipping of goods, improve consumer protections, and ensure fairer practices for businesses selling across EU borders and Northern Irish borders.

Here's a brief explanation

GPSR (Goods Package and Services Regulation) is a new EU law designed to make shopping from small businesses easier and more transparent when sending items to or from the European Union. It addresses things like clearer delivery terms, better tracking for international shipments, and improved rights for consumers when items are delayed, damaged, or lost. For online shoppers, it ensures that any taxes or fees for shipping are clear upfront, so there are no unexpected costs.

It is designed to  streamline cross-border sales and give our customers in the EU a better, more predictable shopping experience - which is what we all want!

However, in reality, we have been given very little, if any, notice about these new regulations and before we can continue to sell into the EU and NI we will need to appoint an agent based in Europe who can handle this on our behalf.  The costs involved in this new set of regulations are quite high and prohibitive for very many small businesses so this is a great impediment to growth - but we have no choice but to go along with them and we hope to have everything in place by the new year.

Please do get in touch if you are trying to order from us - or indeed, if you have any advice or comment on the situation.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
