Yellow and blue Baule Cloth

Baule cloth and it is a handmade textile from Cote D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast of Africa).  Each cloth is created from locally grown cotton, dyed with organic materials, and sunshine. It is then spun, and woven by a Master Baule Weaver, a title that takes about ten years to earn.   

Due to the vintage nature of this cloth there are some areas where the seams have been re-stitched but it generally in good condition.
